What would have happened if the Blue Fairy hadn’t been able to help Pinocchio?
“Starlight, the first star I see tonight…”
That’s how the wish begins—the one that changes everything for Geppetto, the Blue Fairy, and a little puppet named Pinocchio. The Blue Fairy isn’t allowed to grant wishes in the village of Pariva, but this particular wish awakens something inside her. Perhaps it’s the hope hidden in the loneliness of that old man. Or maybe it’s because, a long time ago, the Blue Fairy was just a girl named Chiara with one dream: to help others be happy.
Her sister, Ilaria, always mocked her for it, since she had far greater ambitions—to leave that boring village and become a renowned opera singer. While Ilaria would have given anything for a fairy to grant her wish, Chiara didn’t believe in the legends her village was known for.
Forty years later, Chiara—now the Blue Fairy—breaks the rules of magic to help an old friend, but is caught by the Scarlet Fairy, who turns out to be none other than her sister Ilaria. After decades of resentment, Ilaria confronts her for breaking the rules. The two fairies agree to settle the matter with a wager—one that could endanger the fate of both Pinocchio and Geppetto.
Will the sisters find a way to reconcile?
Or will this be a bet that comes at too high a price?
